As a discription of Anatolian Chamois (rupicapra rupicapra) its general color is a dark, smoky brown with a broad, black dorsal stripe. Neck and legs are blackish-brown, being darker than in most European races. Underparts are pale, rump is white. Throat, lower jaw, and front of face are white, and there are dark stripes across the eyes to the muzzle. Weight about 80 pounds (36 kg) and the female is somewhat smaller.
They live in the high levels of north-east and east of Turkey. The altitude of these areas are around 2000 - 3000 meters from the sea level.
The best Hunting Anatolian Chamois period of is between November 1 to middle of January. Hunts accomodation can be provided at the fly camps on high levels of hunting areas or in a village houses depends to the weather conditions..Also some winter hunts can be provided in hunting lodges.
