The symbol of our company,Konya Sheep (ovis orientalis anatolica)is living only in the middle anatolian region of Konya.19 years ago,the first issued permit of Konya Sheep was hunted by the hunter of our company in 1989 .The name 'Konya' is a recent common name that has been ascribed to the sheep because of its location. A population of nearly 2500 sheeps is protected by the wildlife department of Turkey. The sheep is living between 1100 and 1500 meter over the sea level.
Until now 7 sheeps were hunted by a special licence in Turkey in BOZDAG MOUNTAINS and 3 of them are hunted by our company.
The hunters who hunted the Konya Sheeps with us are Pepe Papac(USA) in 1989,Hubert Thummler(MEX) and Walter Page Mays(USA) in 2007.All they are hunted in open areas.
