Day 1

• Arriving to Airport Meeting and transfer to the hotel. Checking-in the hotel. Placement.
• City tour to one of the oldest cities of the world. Legend says that at the end of the 5th and the beginning of the 6th centuries, three brothers, Kiy, Shchek and Khoriv, and their sister, Lybid, founded a town and named it after their elder brother Kiy, as "Kiew". By the end of the 9th century, when the Kiew Rus princes united scattered Slavic tribes, For more than 3 centuries Kiew was the capital of Kievan Rus, a state that was the historic ancestor of both Russia and Ukraine. Even now Kiew is called "the mother of Russian cities". which includes visit to Vladimir`s Cathedral the most prominent sacral painting complex of the late XIX c. decorated by world well-known artists. But in 1240 it was devastated by Mongols and fell into decline. In the 14th century it was taken by Lithuania, and later passed under Polish rule until it was annexed by Russia in the 17th century. Under Russian and Soviet rule it reemerged as an important commercial city. With the dissolution of the USSR in 1991, it became the capital of a newly independent Ukraine. During this excursion you will see all the main monuments and places of interest of this city . St. Sophia Cathedral, Mikhailovskiy Cathedral, "Golden Gates", Opera and Ballet House, the House with Chimers, Maidan Nezalezhnosti, Motherland Monument, Andriivsky uzviz etc.

Day 2

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Excursion to Pirogovo architecture museum. Museum of Folk Architecture and Life situated in the picturesque suburb of Kiev tours Pirogovo. It is one of the largest museums under open air in the world that covers about 159 hectares and contains more than 300 unique buildings of folk architecture XVI - XX c. churches, houses, household constructions and workshops filled with household utensils, working instruments, clothes, works of folk art. The collection of the reserve amounts to 80,000 objects. The real atmosphere of Ukrainian village with the customs and traditions of different regions of the country and the beauty and verity of Ukrainian nature will give you a short escape from urban tension.
• Lunch in the ethnic Ukrainian restaurant in Pirogovo.
• Leisure time.
  

Day 3

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Excursion to Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra . This functioning monastery founded in 1051 by monks is situated picturesquely on the highland overlooking the Dnipro River . It boasts numerous churches, a bell tower and miles of underground caves housing ancient crypts, mummified priests and ecclesiastical objects .
• Visit to The Lavra Museum of Microminiatures by Mykola Syadristy. Museum of Microminiatures by Mykola Syadristy is unique. The craftsman produced more than one hundred miniatures with tools he created. There is a rose 0,05mm thick inside a hair, the world's smallest chess piece on the edge of a pin and a flea with golden shoes: these are real wonders! Of course, the exhibits can be seen only through microscopes.
• Leisure time.

Day 4

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Excursion to the museum of Taras Shevchenko – Great Ukrainian Poet.
• Excursion to Mamay`s Sloboda.
• «Mamaeva Suburb» is free earth, that stands on the guard of our memory. Here you as though carried the machine of time on four ages back, when Ukraine was the cossack state. Do you know, who such kazaki-dzhury? And why do windows in a vicarage have many little round window-panes? Who such sotnik and why does his house so differ from other? How did real shinok look, where a jew-shopkeeper bossed? And where did vorozheya live? About all of it «Mamay`s Sloboda will tell.
• Free time.
